人類是由原始生活，慢慢演進開化的，為了找尋食物，由山上發展到平原，

平原 - 給予人類食物且改變了生活環境，更喚起了人類的和平共存及支配的慾望。
所謂平原，乃是由地球表面之四周延伸到至廣至遠，是象徵和平的創造神的偉大傑作。

「平原」是以光滑無限且象徵和平的平原為根據，混合著地心力，再藉著動作表現出來的。
修習之進行線，選用意味著無限平原的「一」字，其動作，以平原為背景，
多採用交叉步及金剛防禦。平原型之重點，是表現力量的緩慢性及柔軟性，
將平原之廣大無邊之思想表露無遺。

"Pyongwon" means a plain which is a vast stretched-out land. It is the source of life for all the creatures and the field where human begins live their life.

The poomase Pyongwon was based on the idea of peace and struggle resulting from the principles of origin and use.

The new techniques introduced in this poomsae are palkup ollyo-chigi, kodureo olgul yop-makki, dangkyo teok-jireugi, meongye-chigi, hechosanteul-makki, tec. The junbi-seogi is the moa-seogi wenkyopson, which required concentration of force in the lower abdomen, the source of body strength, as the land is the beginning and source of human life.

The line of poomsae means the origin and transformation of the plan.
